I don't think there will be any trades by the isles today. Maybe waive Reasoner, but that's about it. I have a feeling this team stands pat and goes into the summer with their eyes open for deals and no burdens of contracts traded for at this deadline.

Excellent...BPT should have a hell of a team next year...and the Isles will be that much better as a result.

Like Keaner mentioned in the last thread the Rangers may be looking to add a dman. That would be two pieces a big rival adds and it's a big risk if the Isles add no players and they miss the playoffs.

It really sucks that the Rangers will face the Pens without Crosby for both games...

Hey guys I am back after being really sick with the flu. Have to say the Islanders have been impressive of late and I am so proud of them.

As for today I dont see much happening. this team is clicking and I cant see anything on the horizon unless a deal comes Garths way that he cant say no to. I am all for trading guys like Streit and Boyes but why fix something that is not broken

Wow...we were just talking about him a couple of weeks ago here. I put the up for him but a Blackhawks fan advised us that he's their Okposo. I'll take another Okposo over Boyes so long as it doesn't require us to give up any of our decent prospects...

Maybe KO can go in the package? I would think Chiacgo would want Steit? I'd rather not give up a Nino or Nelson type.

Saw Saad play the other day and he looks awesome. I think the Blackhawks though are going to want a lot for him
