I will say this with Hall playing the way he has this year the size thing isn't as big as an issue. Yes it's still an issue, but like many have said we needed our boys to turn into men. Get rid of that boy strength and we'll be in a better position. Prv is also helping with this.

With that being said I would like one guy that is a proven gritty guy up in that top 6.

It's good Clouts...I like your thinking. Tough to get those deals done as you've put them though...we'd likely have to give up a little bit more on each trade. I'd still do it though.

I bet if you take Jokinen, McBain is a lot easier to acquire.

The Islanders are in playoff contention. They don't need get assets back for Streit. They didn't give up any in the first place, he signed as a free agent. He'll remain an Islander.

Not sure you'd want to lose the toughness on the back end by trading Fistric. Plus, keep Kleffbom in the minors next year, quit rushing these guys.

The question is,would Carolina do that? But I like the idea of going after him. I think Bishop should be the Oilers top priority at the deadline. A 2nd and Jones is pretty close
