Can we start a fantasy list and put shane doan a top of it. He was a beast last night

I saw Schroeder a few times playing against the Heat in Abbotsford. He seemed small but is he ever an intelligent player. I saw him score a goal where the shot came from the point and he was parked off to the side of the net.... The puck came flying off the back boards and he hand eyed it in out of the air. The amazing part was he was skating halfway back down the ice before anyone on the ice knew what happened. Even the goalie. Very cool play.

Yeah we won , but it was boring and no scoring .

I did like the way Hank jumped in to defend Edler . He is leading the team as a captain should . In previous years him and his brother would have the discussion about whether they should get involved as the play was happening. Last night they jumped in right away. I would have liked to seen that 6'4 Swede get up and defend himself .

Some good signs from the team but they need to make a major trade or two to make a deep run. They do have the core to do it. They need a big scorer and a tough guy 3 rd line center for the playoffs and then they can be taken serious.
