Lugo should definitely play left wing.

Whatever happened to the great D. Joslin? Do you really think Ballard will get a fair shake from AV?

If there is no rule against playing two goalies then put them both in the net at the same time .

I generally agree with your lineup opening day. I'm hoping that Raymond-Schroeder-Kassian will develop some nice chemistry over the first few weeks. Then, when Kes and Booth come back, we'll look something like:
Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Booth-Kesler-Higgins
Raymond-Schroeder-Kassian
Hansen-Lapierre-Manny/Volp/Archibald/Jesus

Four lines that can hopefully contribute so AV can roll them and avoid fatigue

I see the nucks signing Gomez to league min on a 1 yr deal. If anything, just to try and shore up the middle with Kessler out. Low risk/potential high reward

Before everyone falls in love with Raymond again ,be cautious. I hope he does have a breakout season because he is cap friendly and a good guy. Remember when he came back last year he impressed for about 10 games. Let's see how he is doing after 20 games. I hope he lights it up so he has trade value. He is not a top 6 player and when Booth and Kesler come back where does he fit in? If all of a sudden he turns into Stamkos then hallalueya , but his history is he is a perimeter player.

He is and always will be a practise player, an outside perimeter player, that's his game. Just watch and see, I hope I'm wrong, but I'd bet a lot of money that I'm right.

Kassian second line? Seems a bit lofty at this stage of his game.

I'm really hoping Schroeder gets a legitimate chance to do something this year. Not too many people are giving him a chance because of his size, but I think his speed could make up for that. Seems like he has good vision and could be a legitimate playmaker with some goals here and there. It would be nice if one of these 1st round prospects would f'n work out a little more often.

I'm looking forward to see what Garrison will do with the Canucks.

Why's that? He's an offensively talented player, struggles with consistency but he's earned it IMO.

He could be a top 6 player on a team like NYI . Reunite him and Grabner. He will never be a top 6 on a cup winner and he is not physical enough to be a third liner.
Hell of a nice guy,and I hope he does really well to increase his trade value. Higgens and Hansen are better third liners.

Yeah but here he has a real defensive partner unlike Edmonton and Minny. We will get to see more of the real Barker.

Hodgson on the first line? Seems a bit lofty doesn't it? He'd be a third center on most teams
