So Pardy over Regehr didn't happen, huh? Guess those unsupervised practices don't mean jack squat. As you were, ladies and gentlemen, as you were. |

Pardy is better than Regehr in my opinion.
Choosing Regehr over Pardy is nothing more than politics as usual.
The Sabres didnt fly across the United States to sign Pardy now did they? |

Over Regehr what about Weber ? Back to being soft on the blueline again. We got one guy too old to fight and one guy who cant win a fight rounding out our bottom 6

Connolly on waivers.... Sabres could use some experience at centre

I'd be much more concerned about their ability to throw their bodies around without taking themselves out of position or doing something stupid like a steroid crazed jackass than their ability to fight. |

It goes back to the blue collar mentality and the championships they don't bring you always talk about. |

put mcmuscle and gerbe on IR
sign fragile tim to play 4th line with hecht and kaleta
bench timmy or hecht when scott needs to be in the line up
roll that 4th line 12 minutes a game and bank on the top 3 lines having fresher legs in the last 8 minutes of the games
if we are up a bunch play that line heavy in the third to save the legs of the top 3 lines for later in the year
if an injury comes up, they can move up 1 line for a few games
if they suck ass, put them on waivers and pull gerbe or mcmuscle off the IR
playoff time rosters are expanded and play whoever is needed
this only works if lindy would roll the lines for the entire season and focus on trying to keep the top 9 fresh for the stretch run
this only works if the GRINGO STICKS
I'll hang up and listen |

In a playoff run I still want Regher on this team. He's tough and he's a leader. God knows how little leadership there is on this roster.. |

goaltending, goals, and special teams win the championships
blue collar mentality means you tried hard |

Thanks. I know I'm right because I know what I saw at all the practices and Pardy deserved that spot but there is only so much egg one can wear on their face after flying across the country to court Regehr. |

Regehr is on good hip check from LTIR . Bad move if we lose Pardy. |

it would work in a season where there are 3.5 games a week
park his ass in the presser for the playoffs but use him to get to the playoffs
he would be hungry and that line would get 20 goals in 48 games and stretch the ice
getting ott out there on the 3rd line makes it possible IMO |

Connolly seriously ? How long did it take to finally dump this chump ? jfc Even the Leafs were smart enough to let him go after one year. |

it would work under the cap for this season, esp if you have gerbe or mcmuscle on the IR |
