My guess is Andy Greene or Anton Volchenkov. Likely Greene. |

Are the Devils interested in PK Subban? How about Henrique for Subban. |

Ok in all seriousness I'd probably say Greene. Hemsky would be worth a 1st rounder and a prospect especially if the Devils are showing a lot of interest but the Oilers don't need anymore draft picks... |

Im weary about giving up Henrique even if we are the clear winners in the deal I think this kid is going to be real special he does alot of the little things right and is already a fan fav |

I'd be weary of greene for hemsky straight up...i would absolutely LOVE atrain +2nd rounder for hemsky, and we aren't trading henrique, we'll lose him in free agency for nothing which is the devils way |

Larsson, henrique, and a first will get you Hemmer.
In all seriousness though I'd assume larsson and henrique are close to untouchable. What would be a fair trade for Hemmer? I'd like a 2013 first but does New Jersey have a 2013 first? What do you guys value zajac at? Would hemsky plus a pick give us zajac or is he off the market? Is josephson able to replace him? |

Lol good point on that and we should see if Perry would have any interest in coming here if Kovy comes back that would be a good top like of
Kovy - Henrique - Perry
or
Kovy - Zajac - Perry but this is just me dreaming haha |

Henrique isn't going anywhere, and the Devils have 8 NHL defenseman + a few solid defenseman in the AHL who may be NHL ready. Doesn't make much sense. |

I don't think the devils are willing to part with any forwards right now...especially zajac. Our Dmen are the ones on the table right now i think. |

That's a terrible attitude... That I occasionally share
But realistically, if you can trade Henrique for something better than Henrique, you do it... Right? |

The Devils host the draft and won't move their 1st unless something crazy comes up. Zajac is more valuable than Hemsky. He's younger, can play in all situations and is an iron man. |

A Volch package is the most likely option. Hemsky with Elias could be a nice thing. Hemsky is def not worth a 1st rounder. He's been to unhealthy for any team to offer a 1st rounder. |

Yea you're right but I would still be a little hurt to see him go haha and I think we all have a player we feel that way about |

Penner wasn't worth a 1st either.

Like I say, I know exactly what you mean
Some people take it too far though - there are some Ottawa fans who say "Greening is not moving" as if a guy with 20 G, 45 PT ceiling is untouchable.
I mean, I like the guy too, but if I can package him off for a bonafide star then sayonara! |

Sure he was. He didnt miss most of the season. And he was producing. Theres a reason he was targeted and not Hemsky. At the time of the trade we were looking for scoring. And still didnt go for Hemsky. Im not saying Hemsky isnt a good player. His health over the past few years really hinders his value. I like Hemsky, and wasnt opposed to the Kings even going after him. |

Yea I still don't know what Henrique's ceiling is he could be 50-60 point player or he could be a 70-80 but either way I feel like he will be the leader of this team and that means something to me now that it looks like we finally have a coach that will stay and if we get the leadership sorted out for the next ten years that would be great |

I'd do that trade, but our offense would be really weak after it for this season. |

Volchenkov really has next to no value. If they would take him, I'd have no problem with it. I'd think they would want Tallinder or Greene, though I would really hate to give up Andy Greene. |
