While the billionaires bicker over making more money back here in reality I got bills and Christmas shopping coming up, I will be making an inquiry about getting my season tickets refunded this week.. First and last year for that both sides should be ashamed of themselves.  |

Anyone who says they don't want a season yet still come to a hockey blog daily is a liar.
Secondly, can someone tell Jamal that if he and his union dig in and miss a season that his career will likely be over? This is a guy in the twilight of his career who was benched in the playoffs last year. He doesn't have much left. |

now this blog made a lot of sense.. Put me in that category that really hope for a season but havent for a minute got my hopes up cause I am sick of the rollercoaster of emotions. I love the game and miss no doubt.. But finding it real hard to root for or identify with anyone involved.. Player/owner league etc |

I am so sick and tired of hearing about this whole thing. I am a HUGE hockey fan, and at this point I really don't care if hockey comes back. I'm happy with watching the junior and AHL games. |

I agree with your initial point. If we truly don't care then why are we here? I want a season, call me a sucker, I love the NHL when it son the ice. Its the best product in pro sports, it survived and grew after the last lockout that killed a season. They will get this thing back on the ice where it belongs. When it does end, and we get this thing going toward and into April, we get the best part of the season in its enitirety! Did the NBA suffer?? They had one of the best post seasons in recent memory and now look at it, we forget there was even a lockout. We all care, I know when they drop the puck at MSG I will be and many of my Rangers faithful who read these blogs will be too... |

It's a sad day.
Seriously though if they broadcast more of these games it would be a pleasure to watch them - but watching them through 3rd party websites under poor quality is anything but satisfying.
You have to admit, while the hockey can still keep you entertained - it leaves you wanting more. No comparison to NHL hockey. |

I'm tired of it all, but would gladly watch it if it came back. I just wish they would put an early deadline on it. If they don't have a deal by dec 1 or whatever day then cancel the season. Atleast I can fully move on instead of this up and down crap. |

Hardly a popular player... 
And if the players are ready to dig in and miss a season over these things, then (frank) them. They are idiots. The league was growing, and they still would have made out like bandits even though they think they are "giving up" so much. Now they are really giving something up...playing time and paychecks. (frank) THEM!

More saddened than angry, really miss NHL hockey but have learned to live without it, it is evident to me that for this year at least, much like 04/05 there will be no NHL,the really sad thing is, neither side seems to realize the permanent damage that is being done to the league. |
