Hopefully Hodgson really gets something out of this experience. Hes no dummy. He knows what the organization expects from him going forward.

Sources close to inside the organization have possibly tentatively confirmed that this means the team may be actively and openly kicking the tires on shopping Pominville behind closed doors.

It won't be long until a Canuck fan makes a joke about his dad getting him the "C".

Honestly it is the only way his dad would agree to let him play in the AHL

I hated to see CoHo go from Vancouver, this kid was on his way to stardom! The 17 goals he scored while playing on the third line in Vancouver while playing less than 15 minutes a game go unparalleled. I sure missed him in our first round loss to the Kings. The game winner in Boston last year stands out in my head as an Eberle/Naslund type shot/goal. I hope he does well in Buffalo.

Ya and maybe his 90% offensive zone start times had something to do with that playing against other teams worst d pairing. Nothing against COHO but Gillis did a masterful job inflating his value, hiding his flaws and pulling the wool over dumb Canucks fans eyes. Had it been a 50/50 zone start time i think you'd see way more goals going against him scoring. Come on. We all wanted him to improve and in three years he didn't. He was the same skater and the same player in the devensive zone. He'll be nothing more than a pp specialist.

Just make sure the 'Captain' gets enough ice time or he and his parents will start crying to management.

i like the guy. i havent seen much of him but the little i saw looks good. i liked kassian too. great team guy. i would love to have both of them on the sabres. my only issue with kassian was that he didnt finish his checks enough and that he didnt impose his "will" enough.

Still beating the "Hodgson had sheltered minutes" drum are you?

Imagine that...the organization sheltered a rookie's minutes? Who would of thunk? Why do you not rag on every other rookie who was handled in a manner that only makes sense by the team that drafted them?

If Schroeder gets sheltered minutes are you going to sing this song to death as well?

I also laugh how this organizeation inflated Hodgesons value according to you. This is the organization that accused him of faking the injury that stole a year of his developement.

..and Kesler for the Canucks. ...and hundreds of other forward rookies... it's just BS. Hodgson is a natural leader. If you listen to everyone who has worked or played with CoHo you will hear a more accurate assesment of what he's all about instead of a fan pushing rumours to save face for Gillis and AV.
