why would lou negotiate when he doesnt know what the cap is going to be? this is the right move and we shouldnt be looking too far into it. once the new CBA is done im sure hell start negotiating with these guys and wont let them leave |

If the cap comes down, there will likely be buyouts or rollbacks. I would've given Zajac a deal around 5.5 million and Clarkson one around 3.

Of all our UFAs next year (Zajac, Clarkson, Elias, Zubrus) definitely the most important one to resign soon is Zajac, not just because he's our #1 center but I think of those 4 he'd be the most likely to leave. |
