Likely a third/fourth line role. With the way he plays, he can certainly provide some grit and toughness to the team, but then again, you have to weigh that against whether it's better for him to develop his offense more in the QMJHL. This, by no means, means he is or is close to making the NHL roster, just an option.

He'll be in the Q. He's not going to be in the NHL, and the Devils don't even need bottom-six forwards. Rushing him would do no good.

Depending on his showing for camp, he could fit on a third line role, its just whether the team has higher aspirations for him. The Devils also have the 9 game thing, unless it is revoked in the new CBA.

Yup, college players have to remain amateurs, so they can't accept any kind of money in any way from the team. It's why they have to pay their own way if they are going to training or development camps

I don't know. I kinda like the "sign all your players to multi-year 35+ contracts with NMCs" strategy. Sorta similar to what Calgary is doing

What I'm confused about is why the Devils signed him now. The entry-level contracts could very well be extended under the new CBA, and certainly wouldn't be shortened.
