The New Jersey Devils have announced that they have signed 2012 1st round pick Stefan Matteau to a three-year entry-level contract. As per club policy, financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Matteau, 18, was drafted out of the United States Hockey League but will play in Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL next season where his dad is an Assistant Coach.
