Has anyone else noticed that Doan just isn't that good?

In my humble opinion, anyone getting that kind of contract should have been invited to the 2010 Olympics.

When will it end? When will all of this Shane Doan lunacy end, for good? Just when you thought it was safe....

doan's the last thing they need. the sharks are old and they play too slow...don't need another guy who is just starting to plod. they need a retooling w/ an influx of younger plyrs.

-This is another blog about Shane Doan and about how he could sign with the Sharks (who are no closer to signing him then anyone else).

-The Sharks, however, are not at all close to signing Doan and would have to make a deal because they have less than 6 million in cap space.

-This is because Shane Doan is guaranteed at least 7.5 million dollars because the Sabres made a ridiculous offer for Doan.

-It is then suggested that Doan, who has averaged 50 points a season his entire career, could conceivably be paid 8 million dollars a year, putting him in the same bracket salary wise as Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin....

Joe Thornton is retiring a San Jose Shark. End of story. Move on to your next target so you don't waste your time talking about something that will never happen.

He would take less to play on the West Coast. So yes he could leave money on the table if it meant not having to uproot his family. School will be starting soon its getting late in the process.

LA-he could literally commute back and forth to practice by plane. Its like a 45-50 minute flight.

Maybe Garth just thinks that highly of Doan and want's him that bad. Maybe he thinks he's a wizard or something ridiculous.

i daon't read the blogs but i bet he doesnt really want 7.5 even though his agent stated that, they know they wont get that

all the doan jokes were used up by last week, there have been so many blogs about him that i havent seen any new good kokes about him
