Come on. |

Philadelphia or Toronto challenge the Blues' ownership's ability...
nope. TOR is a small market team...at least that's how it's been operated under burke.

Small Market Teams make playoff between cba to cba. Leafs don't. Leafs are Chicago Cubs of Hockey. |

It's for you to see the truth, American born Maple Leafs calling the Leafs the New York Yankee of Hockey is too funny. |

How could you not think of RFA Jeff Skinner for a possible offer sheet?
I'm hoping JR will extend him soon. |

Good call. They are much more similar to the Cubs than the Yankees. I don't think any pro team in North America can compare to the Yanks. |

I think other teams should be hitting the Flyers with offer sheets on several of their RFA's.. |

i'm sure the Habs, with their 24 stanley cups (only 3 less championships than the yanks) might have something to say about that. |

I hate the Yanks but they have been a very well run organization. They spend tons of money on talent and more often than not they put a great product on the field. I would think the St.Louis Cardinals get an honorable mention too. But nothing comes close to them.

Thing is, the Flyers usually extend most of their important young players the season *before* they hit RFA status.... whether that player is subsequently traded or not is another story.

Lucic, Seguin, Marchand, Rask.............Yes these offer sheet rules need to be changed to make it near impossible to get a player!!!!! - GSDIV
If offer sheets become the new fad, we could be in some serious trouble. Imagine losing both Lucic and Seguin to monster offer sheets? That's a scary thought. |

20 years ago, yes but not so much now only because the Yankees can buy all their players and be a true empire while the NHL won't let that happen. |

Burke will offer 2 1st and 2nd before the offer sheet...
*EDIT*
Maybe even 5 1st for Lucic. |

He best keep the youngsters signed, if not and I was a GM, they would be getting an offer.. |

Flyers aren't a small market team though so they'd match if it was a player like Giroux. |
