For me it was a combination Luongo /Schneider. Schneider was rock solid but IMO did not get enough games in.Many nights the goalies saved our ass because of sloppy D and poor back checking from the forwards. |

nobody - Sabres2012CUP
Even with no one playing good on our team we still finished 22 pts ahead of your team with all it's stars. |

I would agree with that. Lou and Scnheids won the Nucks some games that they shouldn't have been in. They masked the lack of secondary scoring especially after CoHo was traded. They were exposed down the stretch and in the playoffs. |

Your first line center Hodgson had trouble being our number 3 . Better make new excuses for this years miss.

While MVP maybe isn't the word, Higgins was great as well. Made every line he played on go. But I agree with earlier posts that our goaltending was our best asset |

Is anyone surprised that after 100 votes Kesler has 2 votes and Burrows has 7
Kesler makes more and gets more attention and yet Burr is on the top line making way less. Interesting. It was Burrows that got the goal that sleighed the dragon. |

yah, but there have been two votes for other and none for Edler.
Seems there should have been 1 crazy or At least Edler's friends popping in for a vote by now.

That and the fact that it seems that even Van fans have woken up to the fact that Kesler is a tool. Thats why you see fans using him all the time in trade proposals now. |

My problem with Kesler is his diving and yapping to the refs. I have no problem with him getting under the skin of other players on other teams , but he has to stop being so self centered and become a team player. |

IMO, anyone who says they wouldn't deal Kesler is lying.
you do it for the right price, but that price is a steep one.
but that being said, i doubt there is a deal out there right now that I would move Kesler in. |

I would also - VANTEL that being said a 40 goal scoring 2 way center, I would want the world in return. I would trade anybody if it helped us win. Kesler knocked all that crap off 2 yrs ago and started doing it again after a couple months of frustration last season. He'll be back this yr
