$4.83M a year for 6 years seems too light for a 21-year old 30 goal scorer who is only getting bigger, stronger, and better. That kind of money would work better on a 3- or 4-year deal, where Kane can prove he is a franchise winger and cash in on it sooner. 3 years, $14.5M or 4 years, $19M. Mark it down.

Thats what a injury riddled crap season can get you... he didn't have a ton of leverage. He wants to prove himself over these next two years and cash in.. smart move on both sides.
