Question: Do you guys think Josh Manson is good? |
|
|

Yeah neither is Getzlaf. Dude has a NMC and a Socal wife and they don't leave Socal. |

Potentially, yes. Right now..... I believe he's one of the Ducks defensemen who's going to be left exposed to Vegas. |

Maybe the Ducks could be really bold and take a run at Claude Julien. Carlyle just doesn't do it for me. |

Fowler or Vatanen to toronto just makes so much sense that it probably won't happen.
this is a hockey trade that would help both teams and should have already been a done deal.

Something needs to be done - Perry is just dragging RR down / killing his game - get RR away from Schleprock - We def. need a winger who has some wheels and can finish - there are plenty of chips to be played - However Murray has some obscene fetish about not trading young D for forward help - Everyone knows the Ducks can't keep all the young guys on D - just pick a team Murray and overpay for a guy that is a difference maker on the wing - |

Henrik Lundqvist wasn't having it. Dude made it seem like another day at the office. I know he's a veteran, but at a certain point someone has to cross the line and rattle the dude's cage. Easier said than done, I get it. Don't want to take offensive zone penalties, I get it. Nevertheless, Lundqvist was in cruise control.
44 shots. A botched up double minor. What really irritated me was the pressure was there and it was one slip up and then they're fishing the puck out of their own net. I could read the discouragement. Also, the DJ did a good job of getting the Ducks to zone out a bit. I know these DJs are playing games. Also, for those that think it's irreverent, you have much to learn. First off, what else is there to do during pauses? Of course I'm going to listen to the music, and I'll be the first to tell you that the DJ at MSG had a track for every situation of the game. Guy probably has residency somewhere in NYC. Was his track list fantastic? Yeah. There were times when I though I was watching a professionally scored drama. However, it makes me angry that they play these excessively catchy hooks and try to mess up the focus level of Anaheim's players. Mission accomplished. I could have sworn Getzlaf was jumping to the beat after a false start for a faceoff. Sometimes, when the music is really bad I think Kesler slams his stick down on the ice to get everyone to wake up. That's a pretty good tactic IMO. Nevertheless, MSG's DJ was just trying to tip the scale, and he did. Lastly, to finish this rant up, I'm making note of this because if these DJs are going to try stuff like that, it's important players don't get caught up in giving that any attention when the playoffs happen.
First they need to make the playoffs! |

definitely an entertaining game
big time kudos to Ryan Getzlaf doing what he did in concern for Derek Stepan, that was one of the cooler things I have seen in awhile. |

This might not be an entirely accurate assessment, but our record against many east coast teams (Florida, Tampa, NY) always seems to be terrible, whether home or away. Why do we always underperform against these teams? |
