Any chance Schlemko could be available? And what would be the asking price? |

If they need to hit the cap floor, they should just move a couple of nothing picks to the Bruins for Tim Thomas.
Take the cap hit, and pay nothing out. Phoenix is the perfect solution. - bruinsbeer69
that actually might not be a bad idea. |

Will this Phoenix thing be resolved by the 9th?
Seems a member of the GWC is claiming they actually have the number of signatures needed to put the sales tax issue on the ballot.
"The city of Glendale has said organizers need to get a little more than 1,800 signatures to get on the ballot. That number comes from a city rule stating a referendum can be placed on the ballot if organizers collect signatures from 10 percent of the last election. The city has said there were more than 18,000 voters in the last general election and thus the Coyotes referendum needs 1,800 signatures.
But Cobb said those leading a referendum against a city sales tax hike told him today of a lower threshold. “Today the anti-sales tax initiative turned in their 4,138 signatures, and Connie Wilhelm phoned me, excitedly, with the information that the 2010 election participation number (11,309 voters) was the controlling basis,” Cobb said. “Our minimum number is only 1,131 signatures. We have that number.” |

660k, good price and he earned it. Not a bad guy to have on the fourth.
As for TT, interesting idea, never thought of it. It might look bad though to pay a guy 5mil to not play on a team with such financial and ownership issues. |

But they suspend him(which is what the Bruins are going to do) and they still have the cap hit because he's an over 35 yr old contract, but they don't pay him a dollar since he's taking the year off.
So, lets say they move a couple of 4th's for him....then they get the 5 million cap hit to help them hit the floor, but they don't pay anything out.
A financially troubled franchise like PHX is the perfect spot for him. |

I agree Adam, Keep Yandle and if there is a play use Gormley and or Runblad. We are backed up on left d with Summers,Schlemko , Gormley and assuming Stone becomes the 6th guy leaves Runbad and Murphy coming up on right side. I can't see Doaner leaving but would be nice to get a top 3 center? Thanks for writing |

"Lastly in 2011 on the fun run to the WCF’s Yandle led the scoring from the point again."
What are you talking about? They were trounced in the first round?
The Yandle talk might be moot if the NHL disperses the Coyote players to other NHL teams. |

Considering the Draft next year and the likelihood of that being a Top 10 choice?
Maybe.

I never understood the Yandle trade rumors in the first place. The guy is a quality defenseman with a friendly cap hit for years. |
