This. Plus, last 2 seasons were hectic for the Caps, which happened to be Semin's worst seasons. I don't know what his "issues" are or if he's any locker room drama, but just based on stats and what I've seen in Caps games, he could be a good offensive benefit to the Sabres.

It's crazy that you think we don't have pieces for an organization wanting to rebuild. 2013 draft picks, Leduc, Pysyk, Adam, Ennis, McNabb, All of our 2012 draft picks, Tropp, Foligno. We really do have good young prospects to offer up, then we can always try to dump guys like Leopold, Roy, Sekera etc.... Nash is human and only scores60-70 points. I think the Sabres should make the trade. Do what it takes the Sabres need a guy like that. It's obvious.
