it's funny because Malkamania has as many cups, post season and regular season awards as scotty carter-banging-wife hartnell

It was a clean hit, but the game was over, and they were losing 6 to 3.

The hit was about 10 mins too late for the pens..wasn't it?

It was, that was a disappointing effort. It sets up nicely for the next game and potential playoff series though.

It had nothing to do with how clean the hit was, more to do you the coach sending out the goons behind 3 goals in a game thats out of reach just to take runs at the Flyers star players... The hit was uncalled for, and poorly timed.

so it's now uncalled for for a player to lay a perfectly clean hit on a guy with his head down just because the game is almost over? come on.

if hartnell would've have laid that hit on crosby or malkin with a minute left, would you still have a problem?

But I wasnt complaining, just point out why the players were upset... Its kind of against the "code"....

i like briere. he may be soft sometimes but he took the hit, got up and brushed it off. i can respect a guy for that.

He flung himself forward, almost diving as soon as he felt the push from behind. That crosscheck by Schenn there IS the definition of a love-tap crosscheck. It's just hilarious to me how he's the ambassador for the game yet cheapens it with this try to sell the play game.
