I love watching both of these teams play, but I am tired of people saying the only reason the Flyers win is because we get under there skin. I honestly see both teams trading shots, and say what you will about Schenn cross checking Crosby but Sidney got away with three blatant slashes so it was bound to happen. The Penguins are so good its ridiculous but they really are a bunch of sore losers and I mean that in the most respectful way possible. I might sound like a homer here but in my opinion Pittsburgh was the more physical and used those so called "antics" that we used to beat them in Philly last time. |

It would have been great if the Flyers had shown up in the first 10 minutes. But once again, they don't.
I was taken by how chippy and cheap the Penguins are. Where did that come from? I don't remember Crosby ever being so free with the stick swinging. And he doesn't get called? I agree that Shenn's cross check was cheap, but no cheaper than Crosby or Malkin's crap, or the number of times Pen's went out of their way to hit Briere and Grioux high. I lost some respect for them over that...not that they will loose any sleep over it.
A healthy Bryz makes this a different game. Nice that Giroux has a puck go in ... maybe that will open the floodgates going into the playoffs. |

vitale lays a clean hit, the flyers try to help him and end up getting their asses kicked. not much more than that.
the more important thing was that the flyers came in, got beat in the first, then handed the penguins their asses in the 2nd and most of the third.
flyers deserved the win. they played a great game and for some reason, BOB always kills the penguins.
should be a good game saturday. this is what the penguins needed. |

how? vitale lays a 100% clean hit, the flyers come after him and the rest of the penguins respond.

obviously you dont watch nick kronwall play much. vitale's hit was awesome because it was hard and clean, but kronwall's hits are uncontested for the best of the year. |

It was a clean hit, but the game was over, and they were losing 6 to 3.
The hit was about 10 mins too late for the pens..wasn't it? |
