Letang And Crosby are both huge question marks going into the playoffs. I doubt the both of them will stay healthy for four rounds.
The Preds on the other hand scare the living shyt out of me - TheCouv
Only because you will have to play them to get to the cup. I think the pens are favorites with NY Philly and Boston out of the east without Sid in the line up. I don't think he would be returning for the 2nd time this quickly if something weren't different than the last go round. |

He's matured all right ...he's gone from over-the-top goal celebrations to assaulting assistant coaches with his stick. A real class act. Good luck with that Nashville. |

A non-issue. It was an accident, not an assault. This has been discussed ad nauseum. |

Penguins were a favorite even without Crosby. Preds and Trotz still have a lot to prove in the playoffs, and getting Radulov back is not a done deal. |

I would say the Pens are favorites with Crosby, but considering what happened after his last return, let's wait 5 games and see if he's still playing. As for Radulov, I would say the Preds are contenders. I don't know what it is about Barry Trotz, but he's the only coach in the NHL that can take career underacheivers (the Kostitsyns) and make it work without any problems. |

That would be sick. Throw in Euro leagues and call it a tourney. |

and i'll ad ..... if it gets done i'm still not convinced it's a huge plus. he ads talent, but how times have we seen teams spend tons of cash on gathering talent to end up not being as advertised. he SHOULD help, but if he doesnt sign an immediate extension i'll be leary and consider the possibility that this is a move by radulov to burn his "owed year" to the preds so he can move on. if thats the case he makes us worse, not better, because his interest is himself and not the team.. if i were king of the world we wouldnt take him till july 1. |

They were strong contenders before their returns (impending return for Radulov).
So, it's difficult to suggest their additions won't help Nashville and Pittsburgh's chances. |

Crosby is the best player in the NHL, of course he puts the Pens over the top. They were already good without him. Preds have never proven anything in the playoffs and Radulov has been out of the league for a couple years. I would imagine it will take a while for him to round back to NHL form and adjust to the game. He likely helps them, but does he make them favorites? Not in my opinion. |

Predators are already my favourite for the CUp without Radulov, they have the experience from previous campaigns and true hockey guys like Weber on the team he will lead them, tough but still a quick, solid 2 way team, going to be very hard to beat in a 7 game series. |

Dude, chill...lol. Learn to take a joke. I couldn't care less about the Pens and their chances. I am from Washington, DC originally so I poke fun from an old rivalry point of view. Relax, breathe and exhale. LOL! |

? Having an opinion is now considered as going over the line around here? You made a joke, then I made the same joke. Penguins are good and now they're adding the best player in the world. What's there to "chill" about? |
