the oil are too soft, and who ever mentioned to go after Clowe.... God Bless you. He is the pefect player the oil need, but they still need to fill two holes, a number 1 goalie and a top pairing dman. If they do happen to snag Clowe for what ever wouldn't that make PRV and or Omark expendable. |

I think the real question here should be: "Is Richard Cloutier getting a free ride living in his Mom's basement and not paying any rent?" |

i don't really blame the coaches, if they are given poop to play with, they will play like poop. Simple theory |

Max Pacioretty and our top 6 would look pretty nice.
Too bad there was no way to get him in 2007 at the draft |

Ya the Sharks/Kings/Caps/Sabers may all have some nice pieces on the market this summer. I would think if the Flyers go hard for Sutter with a big contract they'd have to unload a decent Dman as well. - Zombie

i hate paco, maybe cause i like the B's and the french were being vages and phoned the cops and poop with the Chara hit
i like your other idea..... Clowe, but what would the trade be? - Killbot460
Not pretty. But with that being said, if the Sharks lose in the first round or don't make the playoffs they will be looking at changes. If the salary cap is rolled back there could be changes as well.
Hmmm, maybe not as bad as I thought. Clowe UFA at the end of next year. |

Peckham tender that female dog, maybe put him forward...
Whitney is (frank)ing Garbage
Schultz stays
Smid stays
Sutton stays
Petry resigns
Potter i wanna see if this was fluke or not
I hope the oil can steal Carlson, he would be perfect with Schultz. |

Why is Renney not the right coach? He's made our PP the best in the league. He's made our PK pretty darn respectful.
Not sure what else the guy should exactly be getting out of this team. Gagner looks to be a better all around player. Eberle getting better. - Lahey
I totally agree with you. I have to say I am fine with Renney and I hope he is here next year as well.
People have seemed to quickly forget how are team played last year and especially the year before that. I am not talking about where we are in the standings, I am talking about when we lost we would usually get blown out, our PP was pretty much the worse in the league. We compete pretty much every game now and they are close games, our PP is #1 in the league and like you said we have a respectful PK, the coach has a lot to do with this.
During the games I see Renney talking to the kids after their shift, commenting on stuff etc. that is a coach that is committed to the rebuild and making sure the kids develop properly. I think we all agree that our future are the kids and I have to say that aren't disappointing, they are developing and are going to become elite. We aren't making the playoffs this year so why in Gods name would we, as many people are saying we should, give the kids tons more minutes, possibly putting too much pressure on them and possibly hurting their development when they are already doing fine. Plus the added chance that they get injured playing more time against other teams better players. Just look at the islanders, they have a great bunch of young talent but put way too much pressure and responsibility on them way too early and look how that turned out for them the last couple of years. |

Just a tidbit to get everyone rolling again...here is the UFA list for this summer:

I see the Bruins entire 4th line are UFA's, how about an entire new 4th line?
Also would swap Horcoff with Kelly for our 3rd line center. |

Once upon a time there was a captain named Horcoff... He sucked balls and led the team with a -21. He met up with a guy named Hemsky, who was made of talc. Hemsky sucked balls as well. Both players were cool though, as they accepted HUGE hometown discounts to stay in Edmonton. With their impressive numbers/accomplishments, both of these gods could have easily collected 9-10 million each per season with ANY other team in the NHL.
Other notes...
Our D has tonnes of experience... There's no reason why guys who have been around forever, like Petry, Potter, Peckham, and Teubert can't dominate the NHL.
Hall, Nuge, Eberle, Gagner are all jokes. Although these guys are leading the team in scoring, it's not good enough. Each of these guys are in their prime, and they WON'T get any better. 2-3 years from now, they'll be retired due to old ageeeeeeeee hahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Seriously though, this be a rebuild, yallllllllll! Although a couple of our older guys should be ashamed of themselves, we'll be fine... It just means that we can't depend on our "vets." Give us 8-10 more years and we may get into the playoffs.
