I think most people probably realized what we had in gill when he was helping Montreal shut us down in the playoffs. I know Halak played well but they made sure there was no traffic and cleared the rebounds that were available. With Sutton among others signing I'm sure the lack of available dmen probably priced gill out of our range.

Truth be told, it was the best wedding I have attended. Our whole Modern Warfare clan attended, and it was the first time we all met in person. Total sh!t show.
Needless to say, the bride was none too impressed with us. We introduced ourselves and she says "Oh, you are the xbox guys" then turns and walks away and pays us no attention for the rest of the night.

I think the run to the championship makes people believe he was better then what he actually was.

I haven't seen too many games this yr to make an opinion of Martin. The only player I have an opinion on is TK and he terrible shot choices. But I seem to remember everyone hating Hal Gill and how soft and slow he was. Now everyone wants Scuderi back and talks about how he was our best shut down d man. I remember him going againse OV in the playoffs and he still had like 8 goals that series. Pittsburghs fan memories are short and cloudy.

I would love to have Gill back because he has a simple role and he clears people out from in front of the net. Honestly our d-men now don't do that i think he is needed.
