Jan, Thomas had a right to do it, but everyone else has a right to be annoyed by, dismissive of, or otherwise critical of what he did. The only thing we can't do is arrest him for it. Too many idiots out there don't get that. Including Wyshinksi. The TEAM was being honored by the OFFICE of the President of the United States. The elected representative of the PEOPLE. It isn't a political event because every president, regardless of party or time in the election cycle, honors every major (and some minor) champion. It was a graceless move on his part.
I'm really looking forward to the game tonight. It will be a rare time when I'll be rooting along with the majority in the building. |

Well said, and right on point, his decision not to participate was unfair to his teammates. |

Last game for a week. Hoping to go into the break on a high note. Would love to see guys like Richards and Dubi contribute on the score sheet tonight. |

no excuse not to beat this team without Evander Kane.
This is the kind of game that if they lost Torts should cancel everyone's vacation plans.
Do not give these two points away under any circumstances. |

As long as we play well I'll be happy, this play great one game and poor the next is getting annoying. And about another top 6 forward I would love Selanne and his hit is only $4m, but not sure who we would send over, Dubi makes about the same amount of money but I don't think they would take him. |

I really take Sather's words seriously when he talked about a trade that wouldn't affect the team's chemistry.
I expect them to make a trade without subtraction, not something that signifgantly changes the locker room. However anyone feels about Dubinsky, him leaving changes a lot. He could very well be traded during the off season, but I would be shocked if he was dealt before this deadline.
But, they could acquire Selanne for pick and prospects if Anaheim falls out of it completely by the deadline and Selanne wants to come here. |

The only reason I said to trade Dubi is it makes sense cap wise, they both make about the same amount of money. Unless they would take Wolski for some reason I don't think it will work out. |

the Rangers will have enough cap space the rest of the season to acquire at least one signifigant player regardless of dumping Wolski, probably two if they can dump him too. |

Did not know that, then maybe we wouldn't have to trade anyone on the roster, just a pick and a prospect, if it's at the trade deadline and it looks like the ducks wont make/do well in the playoffs he'll be cheap. |

Did you guys think that Ovechkin hit was worth three games? Seemed like a 2 minute charging penalty to me, but maybe I am just living in the 80s. |

I find it funny cause a penalty wasn't even called on the play. It was definetly a charge as he left his feet. He got 3 games for being more of a repeat offender IMO. |

Dubi for Selanee are you out of your mind? I would not want to trade Dubinsky unless it's for someone who is young like he is. Selanee is approaching retirement why would we do that?
I would do this
Dubi, 2nd tier prospect , and a 1st for St. Louis. |

I am sure St. Louis as a NMC to. Part of the reason he signed long term with Tampa at an old age was to end his career there. I doubt he goes anywhere. |

Every year, there is a guy that shows up in literally every trade proposal. Congrats, Dubi, this year that guy is you!
But seriously, I would be very hesistant about trading Brandon Dubinsky this year with the way things are going. To the extent a big deal is made, I would prefer that prospects go the other way, rather than a core member of the team. I realize that the Rangers need to make the money work, but they have several options they can engage in with Wolski to make a deal happen. |
