he was wasn't to busy partying it up rather than coming to play with a serious attitude him and richie would still be here

rather both of them just screw around

He isn't just going to be handed a spot. I'd want him to have the mindset to come him and put his best foot forward.

I don't doubt he won't make it but I wouldn't also just say here don't worry about anything no matter what you are on the club.

Precisely. He SHOULD make the team. But nothing is a guarantee. He is a kid. Barely older then me. Every player is unique as an individual.

Given his play, he sure as hell looks ready. But should he faulter, let him play in the AHL. It wont kill him. He'll learn and develop from it.

I hope your right. How does Seguin and Hall compare to Schenn? Seguin had 11 and 11 for 22. Hall 22 and 20 for 42.

This is Giroux's and JVR team now... Funny thing is a couple of yearss back i thought (wouldn't it be something if it went from Carts and Richie to Klode and JVR) and we've got it now.

True, but we have no idea what the actual language of the conversations homer had with carter and his agent. If he was saying things like, "absolutely not there's no way I trade a guy like you not even if it was for stamkos" then I would totally understand it.
If homer just said something non committal like "no we're not looking to trade you right now", then thats different.

I think they understand it's a business, but those guys laid it all out there for this franchise on the ice. They played hurt, and played very well majority of the time.

I'm not going to buy into any of the off ice or locker room stuff, because I don't know what the deal is with that, and no one outside of the Flyers locker does either.

I'm not condemning the trades I have an open mind about how they can improve the team, that being said I'm not thrilled with the way these guys were treated. I think they deserved a little more respect from the front office for their service.
