I want to know what they are gonna do for a goalie. I haven't seen anything about that.

picks may turn out they may not - Carter and Richards took u to The Finals & are proven winners.

Bryz is overrated - had terrible playoffs last 2 seasons.

Don't try and spin it - terrible deals especially Carter

4 1st rd picks is a lot... even for a guy like stamkos. especially considering how much they would have to pay him.
- BradTardforGM

it would cost them probably 8.5 mill in cap space.... Mind as well keep carter and richards

Voracek had more points his first 3 years than Carter did and is 4 years younger.......

and if they can flip that 8th for Landescog, I dunno I think thats fair compensation

I think the only way the Flyers get Stamkos is through trade. Schenn would be the major chip. Stamkos is certainly unlikely, but not impossible. Let's face it, I can't believe TB has waited this long to sign Stamkos, really makes no sense.

The youth of Stamkos, Schenn, JvR, Giroux and whoever they get tonight could be an argument against that.

It'll be interesting this summer, no doubt.

No doubt about it... if they can get him, 4 firsts isnt crazy for a player of his caliber (and age). The bigger question is how can you afford him. I honestly think its a 8.5 mill cap hit for him. How do you keep him and manage to resign key players like giroux jvr etc when the time comes.... and still manage to remain competitive in the bottom 6 and on defense.

Yeah, stamkos just doesnt seem likely.

I would bet that erik cole or brooks laich is on their radar come July 1. I wouldnt mind Darcy Hordichuk either, as a cheap but solid 4th line player.

Exactly. Which is why it's fun to fantasize about it. At the end of the day, though, I'll be interested to see what gets done to shore up the current lineup.

Shame fans of other teams don't have big things going on, and can only live vicariously through us.

I like that, Laich may want 4mil which may be a bit much, maybe Handzus could be a little cheaper.......but I like Cole

I think this is why it is unlikely. The cost of stamkos would be a potential problem for the rest of the team.

I have seen Richards play enough against the Habs and other teams and in the Olympics, Juniors etc to realize he is an elite player and leader. He killed the Habs last season when u beat us out in ECF and was great in the Olympics for a gold medal winning team.

u were robbed
