As much as he can get.

He made about 2 million last year, I would say he will get 3+

- PLindbergh31

How about Laich and Talbot to round out the depth on this team?

i watched that last night and was howling. i loved the stats screen at the end when it showed kidd with 3 playoff wins and marty with 3 cups.

Sickening.

They just showed the Lindros clip.

LMAO at the fans in Nordiques jerseys going bananas and high fiving each other.

Sharks took Fat Balloon at # 2, and of course Niedermayer fell right in the Devils lap.

I would take Laich in the 3-3.5 range, he's a big sized guy, 6'2 200lbs and plays big, and is almost a lock for 20-25 goals and 50-55 points and is a character guy. I see him getting 4+ on the open market though.

I hate to get all "old guy", but yesterday was nothing compared to the night Pelle died.

They're trades. They happen.

Especially with Lava's system.

That's a good thing. Hot rocks will whip him into shape and that'll be the end of it. As a result he may struggle a bit in the 1st portion of the season until he's caught up then he could excel down the stretch.

And the Flyers had to settle for Peter Forsberg at number 6

If Hamilton is there at 8, I better see Holmgren SPRINTING to the table to get the pick in.

Just saw a 3 minute clip of him on NHL network, this kid looks like a stud. Of course he's not going to be there at # 8

Hell, the outcry hasn't even matched the darkest day in Flyers history: the trading of Simon Gagne.

I understand the shock and sadness. I very much understand the younger fans who haven't been through something like this before. The only people I have a problem with are the ones who rejoiced when Carter was dealt--petty, superficial "fans".

On the trades? I think that Columbus and LA got better yesterday, while in the short term the Flyers don't look like a Cup contender right now.
