Only noticed one mistype… 3rd point, 2nd paragraph…

Just looking at the shots, as the Canes had 47 games for the game, including 20 in the second stanza is a bit of a misnomer.

End. This. Series!

Been a Ranger fan since mid 60s. Season tix holder during the GAG line era. This team is as enjoyable to watch as any over the last 60 yrs. Bring it home boys

Couldn't agree more about how much fun this season has been and-there was nothing like sitting in the Blues back in the day.

One shot. One shift. One period. One game. One heartattack at a time.

Omg what a win fellas. That was like an out of body experience that game I had to watch it like 50 times just to make sure it really happen I still can’t believe it lol

Great blog Jan!

WHAT A FUCKING WIN!!!!!!

Holy hell fellas. That was FUN! I love this team man. Just a never say die attitude, tons of grit, skill and depth all throughout the lineup. I've never felt so confident in a group (I was 3 in '94 so cant remember much lol). Heart definitely fell into my asshole when the Canes tied it but I'm also not sure I ever screamed so loud when Bread won it. Talk about a clutch goal. He has silenced ANY naysayers and I am here for it

The Canes have to feel gutted. They threw everything at us, complained all night to the refs and took numerous dives. Still wasnt enough.

Inject this Rangers hockey into my veins. I cant fucking wait for Saturday

Going to be a little bit of a party pooper. Skip over this if you want to keep the vibes up this morning

As excited as I am, and I’m about as excited as I’ve ever been for the team, I’m not getting ahead of myself. I think we’ve got this series, but the Canes are not just going to give this away. It’s still a battle.

And once we get through that, we’re still only half way there. The leadership in the room has to make sure the team resets both emotions and confidence asap to stay on track.

The symmetry between now and 94 is definitely wild… the Knicks are probably as good as back then. 7-0 start. Pres trophy. First year coach. OJ in the news lol

We’re at a pivotal point if you believe in that sorta thing because 94 team lost its 8th game in DC before closing that series in 5. I’d just assume win game 4 tho lol

I think that is something Lavy is really good at, having a short memory. Forget last game whether it was good or bad. Periods even. You have to do that to win it all, can’t get complacent

They could’ve easily folded up the tent after it was tied but they didn’t panic and won a hockey game. I’m not sure they win that if it goes long like game 2. Needed to quick strike and man did they ever

Can you define what on ice offense/defense: above average is? Can’t seem to figure that out. Thanks!

Edit: I’m assuming it’s when the player is on the ice, but don’t get the above average part…

Great to see Panarin scoring at 5 on 5. Three of his 4 at 5 on 5 . But of course the rangers can’t score 5 on 5

On ice defense/offense is just basically expected goals for an against while on the ice.

I was about to write up that I don't fully agree with HST's outlook on Trouba last night. I personally thought he was great. Especially defensively. What really killed him is that he was om the ice for the goal against be he was the only one actually trying to defend.

This is so much sweeter being vs Deangelo and Skjei (I wasn’t a Skjei fan). Especially with all the annoyance Deangelo brings.

Haven't even finished reading Jan's work or watching all the videos posted. And I will watch them all! But, just had to post after seeing Kreids in the post-game presser. Such a pro and such a great attitude for a member of the leadership group!!
Asked about the PK and the boost it gave them, his answer was to compliment Carolina's PK and say there are things they need to do better on the PP.

These guys are 100% in the right mindset!!!!
Let's (frank)ing GO!!!!!!!!!!

Seeing Wheeler there going nuts on the glass was great too. A real testament to this team's makeup. This guy hasn't even been here a year, is a long time veteran and is carrying on like a teenager. It shows me that the leadership cared for him and he bought in and cared right back.
