Thanks Carol!
Like you, I'm really wondering what is going on with Demko as I am very surprised by how ordinary (or worse) he has been so far this year.
Also, surprising to see Auston off to such a slow start after his torrid pace last year! hope that continues thru Saturday! |

Hey man, it's the only silver lining so far. |

Here's an interesting piece that really breaks down how the Canucks' defensive woes start with the forwards.
Intuitively, I've sensed that they're not "playing as a team" defensively. There are a bunch of clips here that show how that shows on the ice.

There are 18 teams with as many or more back to back games as the Canucks.
I did my own research. |

Looks like changes atop Canucks forward lines for Friday practice in Toronto:
Mikheyev-Miller-Boeser
Kuzmenko-Pettersson-Hoglander
Podkolzin-Horvat-Garland
Joshua-Aman-Studnicka - VanHockeyGuy
It’s amazing that Horvat is producing like he is with line-mates like that. |

That’s because he’s actually not producing the majority of his points with linemates like that. Nine of his sixteen points have come on special teams playing with much better offensive players. |

Thanks Carol, big games this weekend, national media spotlight. If the boys don’t bring an A effort it’s going to be ugly. |

Good point Carol. I guess all the forward changes didn’t help the team either 🤷🏼 |

Every year they make huge changes with role players and it takes time for everyone to adapt to the poopty culture before they mostly get replaced, rinse and repeat. |

9p vs 7p... not like there is a big gap. Still remarkable he has any 5v5 points with the garbage he always has to play with.
Also, not like he's on a stacked line for the PK...and actually down a man so no advantage. That's 2 points. So in reality his PP points are the same as his 5v5 points....
Naturally I had to unspin your post. |
