I brought this up a couple weeks ago when comparing him to Mackinnon, Pettersson averages more takeaways and blocks over his career than Mack does. He's right behind him in hits too. - NorthNuck
He has the best hits! |

It’s just not that simple, for numerous reasons. The cap ruined the excitement of the league in terms of player movement. - Pacificgem
Why I half-heartedly watch this team, I expect the same result tomorrow.

Last season Don was spreading Petey doing coke rumors. Either he is gullible as (frank) or makes this stuff up when he's high.

But, but, parity, or mediocrity. - Reubenkincade
It’s really hard to have the wherewithal and patience to build from within these days, but the teams that do it with a purpose seem to have success with it. It doesn’t lead to Cups for the majority of teams but winning and no Cup is a lot more fun than continually losing.

Benning is why we’re here in the first place. - Pacificgem
This management didnt have all the NTC's and a complete lack of young players to start with like JB. Benning didnt have a JT Miller to move for assets. JB also didnt have hind sight to look back on like this group does. They should have figured out the direction this team needed based on all the water treading leading up to their hirings.

I seem to remember you saying something about EP and someone at the Roxy together and "pouty like his coke". It was the season before perhaps or the off season...

How is it that teams like Pittsburg and Edmonton can acquire multiple actual generational players and we have to put up with this crap for most of the teams existence. Hard to fathom the organization has never drafted first overall. |

I recall you claiming that Bo had an only fans account and that’s why he was struggling defensively |

I agree.
I have been a huge fan of drawing since the late 70s, when the Habs were winning, then the Islanders right after.
You need to get a solid core of 5, then a few solid support players, through the draft. |

We have Quinn. A top 10 D in the league that tilts the ice. Exceptional zone exits |

I remember you telling me how much you spent on a 1 year subscription to his OF and thanking me for the heads up. I declined to watch the videos with you... sorry, not my thing. |

Jim had plenty of opportunity to move players for assets, and did, but then pissed then all away. |

Not in his first year like this group. This group has/had the opportunity to get off on the right track. They talked the smack about the construction of the team and what needed to be done and then did a 180 on it... |

I’m glad you like “drawing”….
Luck obviously plays a part in drafting 18 year old kids but you can only explain the Vancouver Canucks lack of drafting ability to incompetence. When you have a large sample size, it is what it is. |
