Source: "Pacioretty Deal Coming. 100%"
Good morning. Expecting a VERY busy one today. If there is one thing I hate reporting it is anything with a 100% attached to it. Nothing in hockey (or life) is 100%. But that is what a longtime trusted source told me about Pacioretty. It's 100% and it is coming...Florida remains the leading candidate, but Tampa and Nashville are also involved. |

Possibly but i think the main thing here will be draft picks, considering bergevin finally seems to be wising up and rebuilding, at least to an extent. |

Montreal now has enough 3-4 centers though. They need a 1-2.
They have Plekanec, Danault, Peca, JDLR all possibilities for the bottom 2.
Right now Drouin has no choice, maybe Danault as 2C. Maybe they give Domi a shot.
Whatever it is, it's slim. |

It's not about next season. They probably have their 1-2 C in their system (as prospects). |

then why go after Bugjstad, that's my point. They need a 1-2 now. Someone who'll be there for 2-3 years and then slip away why the next group makes their mark |

who cares about next season, I hope they get a strong center prospect, someone close to making the NHL. |

They don't need a first or a 2nd for next season, that is my point. You seem to think it's a problem short term while I don't. Picks or prospects should come back or a very young player. ROR was too old for the rebuild. Never mind trading away assets that they need for the rebuild. |

that's the guy they need to target, package Pacs with a pick/prospect for that guy. |

I'd say Kotkaniemi and Poehling are more like 2-3 |

I'll do my best, but you are going to be severely disappointed.
Though in roller league I did post 3 PPG for the time i filled in.
I'm also way past my prime. |

No one knows, time will tell. Poehling’s progression is going better than i expected TBH. And i won’t give any label to a 17 years old kid, that would be just silly... |

I do think FLA is a good trading partner. My guess is MTL will want Huberdeau. Well, my guess is they'd want Barkov, but we all know that won't happen.

Florida won't give up Barkov or Huberdeau for a 29 year old with 1 year left |

I wouldn't be so sure. For every good move the Panthers make, they make one bad one. Although I don't think this would be a bad deal.
The Panthers need help on the wing and I'm sure they'd have some kind of extension worked out before. |
