I think Domi is going to be a stud for the Habs. The Yotes will play Gally at center just to prove he can do it, even if he can't. I hate to sound like a smart person here, but Arizona just got punked by Marc Bergevin. Eat it up boys - Hardbalz

Near term they have more chance of making the play offs than Montreal (and yes, also than Ottawa) |

If I were a betting man, I'd probably still back the Habs to get there first from here. Didn't Domi ask to be traded a year ago? |

After reviewing the contract situation, I think MTL actually got the better of this. Arizona is rebuilding and just gave up a huge piece to get two years of Galchenyuk. He’ll hit the open market before they’re competive again, and it will be a TOUGH sell to keep him in Arizona |

Galchenyuk on a bad year can still pot in 20, for a team as offensively challenged as Montréal , not sure adding another playmaker such as Domi makes sense. |

MB gets slaughtered in this one. In true MB fashion
PK for Weber
Sergachev for Drouin
Gally for Domi
Nice run. How does this plug have a job? - AxlRose91

As with Bergs past history of trades....
Rumor has it that he is thinking about accepting a Patches for Johan Larsson deal straight up.
I'm sure it'll be a wash for MTL according to the media though. |

Domi trade seems like a wash to me. Mtl gets Domi for less $ on the same term, and still have him RFA at the end of it. Galchenyuk seems to have many other issues than defensive play and faceoff ability, so I think MB might have actually done OK on this one (unlike most of his previous deals). |

I think Chayka is just banking on Galchenyuk getting separated from his father as soon as he enters Arizona. |

I wonder if Columbus would trade Alexander Wennberg and a pick to Montreal for the number 3 pick?
