Is it just me or are the Penguins star players all in decline at the same time? Crosby Kessel, Gino, Letang…. I'm thinking a giant thud will be heard in PA this year |

They surely will decline all around the same time, they are the same age. It's not gonna happen this upcoming season though. You come up with that all on your own Sherlock? |

No thud this year but I'd say after the 2021-22 season, the Pens may be in the lottery. |

Man Bergevin is an awful GM. How did it even occur to him to offer Galchenyuk in that trade? Chayka is redeeming himself a bit this offseason with this coup and the OEL signing. |

Sort of. It seems like he's doing just enough to keep ARI in mediocrity for the next 8 years. Theyd prob be better off tanking.
And Kessel certainly wont be going to Arizona now.

He was certainly not going to Arizona for Domi either, NTC aside. |

Kessel had his best season last year FWIW
Domi would have been an upgrade over sheary. Not even in the same category. Would have loved to see Domi with a good team. |

Read the pens were offering Simon and either Sheary or Rust, said they were surprised once he got sent to MTL.

I’m glad the Pens didn’t get Domi. If the Pens decide to make any changes up front, he’s not a player that will move the needle IMO. More specifically what they’d have to give up to get him. |

I think Sheary and Rust have drastically different values....but that woulda been a good deal if true (which I doubt it is).

Domi far more gifted and plays a mans game. Gotta get away from the vanilla pencil pushers on this team. |

Im wondering if the Yotes GM makes his trades using analytics. Isn't he supposed to be very high on analytics? |

I know most will disagree with me, but I'm taking Rust over Domi every day of the week. |

I'd be surprised too if all of a sudden Berg walks into his room, unzips his pants, slaps his Richard on the table, and offers Galch. Talk about monstrous overpayment. |

Nah. Rust got beat up at the bus stop. Enough with those types of players. |

I love Rust's game. I'm personally giving pass to most of the Penguins who had a subpar playoffs. It was just a bad playoffs for them all around. |

I'll agree with that with Sheary but Rust comes up with some big goals and is a solid player for our bottom 6. I'd love to move Sheary though. I'm also a fan of Domi and thought he would be great with Sid. |
