Sadly, we'll get a Reinhart-type and MDC-type players with those picks, Regardless of what position they draft from. - Isleshockeyman
Not necessarily, he only misses when he picks 4th or 5th overall. Literally Strome/Nino/MDC/Reinhart were all either #4 or #5 picks.
He did well with Pulock at 13 and, even though the book is still kinda out on him, Bellows at 19.
Hopefully he won't even be picking, but if nobody jumps up from winning the lottery we will be picking 10th and 12th. We figure to get two good players at those selections. |

I'm sure Snow has a blown up picture on his office wall of him selecting Lee in the 6th.

Did anyone see the plans to build an arena at Ronkonkoma? So the Isles leave and now all these building will get done? |

It could, but Isles fans are tired of having good draft picks and good prospects. As much as I'd be thrilled to win the 2nd/3rd pick lotteries...I'd only really be over the moon if they landed Dahlin, which is a big-time long shot at a combined 6% odds.
I'll be happy getting Veleno at 10th, assuming nobody took him earlier. He's the exact kind of player that the Isles need, whether Tavares walks or not. - eichiefs9

Still think he wants them gone or maybe he needs the thumbs up from Malkin and was pissed he was with those two idiots. He didnt look or sound happy so theres still a chance - Upstate_isles
He said they failed as owners. So how can an Owner rectify the situation unless he changes the Organizations direction. Only way to do that imho is get a new GM.

Snow needs to be ousted completely. None of this "negative promotion" to President of Hockey Operations or any of that sh it. He needs to be wholly removed from this organization, along with all of his nepotism hires.

Totally agree. He's the Pres currently so there really isn't a position to move him up to imho. I mean I would make him clean Northwell's toilets with his tongue daily and then sweep the parking lot.
I'm hoping L and M are waiting for Fenton, Guerin, Fitzgerald etc. to be available to start the interview process.
I mean this is the Islanders and you have to think that the A+ candidates are going to have other options and The Islanders aren't the premiere destination in the NHL. I mean if your a back up goalie with aspirations of being a GM their first on the list but not for top candidates so L and M want a replacement in place before they show their cards.
Again just my opinion. |
