I can see Toronto but why in God's name would he want to go to Montreal? - Cptmjl

Even the Leafs would be an odd choice. All the pressure in going home and then to take a backseat to Mathews as he is seen as being the face of the Leafs. |

I'm too lazy to look it up, but I think Montreal has more cap space than Toronto. So in that one way, Montreal might make sense. |

I ran into Dennis Seidenberg today who told me Tavares will be signing with Montreal or Toronto. In 10 weeks I guess we will see if I’m right - BringNYIhome
Did he tell you this in English or in German? |

Would be good for the Isles if Fitzgerald is a target same if the Leafs are out early if something happens with Lou. |

Why? We already have the best GM in the league. Just ask him. |

This is why L&M are agonizing over the decision. |

Hey, Snow is keeping his franchise player......Josh Bailey. An overcoached wussy who exemplifies what this team is all about. Sure JHS made errors but they couldn't overcoach him and kill his fire to win. The team is so disjointed where Snow looks to sign goaltenders who get overplayed and hung out to dry. BRI is a loser because this entire org is a loser. - Fan101
This team has 248 things wrong with it... josh bailey is not one of them |

At least 200 of them are named Garth Snow. |

248 - Cptmjl
I take it back. The problems are Scott Malkin, Jon Ledecky and Charles Wang. Divide the 248 between them any way you see fit. |

That’s right because no one aside from Islanders players ever goes in any of their houses. It’s so far fetched - BringNYIhome
Well it’s only because the last time you went visiting for nuggets, JT was going to sign so I’m just a little confused. |

I wouldn’t count The Habs out. They have the Cap space to offer a huge number and also Marc Bergevin and Brisson, JTs agent are very close.
The teams a mess recently so that isn’t what JT wants but his fiancé is Canadien and this will also weigh into the decision. As far as Toronto I don’t see how they go after JT with the players they need to sign in a couple of years.
Again I don’t think there’s a team that wouldn’t want to add a player like JT, hopefully he will still be in an Islanders sweater next season.

His fiance is Canadian. Toronto , Montreal or Ottawa. I could see a sign and trade with Montreal, knowing Garth , it would by for Price. |

I had dinner with Tavares last night and he told me not to listen to that Seidenberg guy. |
