Yeah I would sign up for that tandem also and don't get me wrong I'd take (frank)ing anyone over Snow at this point I would just prefer a more experienced GM. Just sick of people "learning" on the job with this team. We need experienced hockey minds that have been doing this successfully and for a while at this point IMO.

I'm not sure who's out there or who would be available that fits that description but that's who I would be looking for. With all of this said we're going to have the two chimps that were in that abortion of a press conference on Monday so this post was a waste of my time

An experienced GM would be great. It seems crazy, but I mention Neil Smith and not just because it would upset Wang. I would take Neil Smith as POHO despite him being out of the game for a while. I think the odds are if Garth goes he will be replaced by a 1st time GM.

What do you guys think of the Doughty hit? I'm surprised they suspended him.
- JimmyP

I guess because it was a head shot they are suspending him. I know Doughty took a slash in the first period to the back of his leg. Maybe it was retaliation for that. Don’t know if it was the same player but if it was the fact he targeted his head maybe that played a role in their decision. Who knows?

I gotta go check that out

Oh it's worth it. Guy is an arrogant tool box that thinks he's smarter than everyone else while being a Snow fan. So in short a complete moron and nuttier than a squirrel turd. Has to be Snow.

I don't know if he intentionally targeted the head, but he got Carrier regardless. I'm just happy the league is willing to punish superstars in the playoffs. Marchand should take note.

You read this article and it makes you understand just how bad Snow has managed this team for the last 12 years if you didn't realize already. My God what a (frank)ing disaster. I cannot believe this guy has gotten away with this for so long and very well may be here another season to (frank) up this team even more. It's incredible

It was better when Garth had no money to spend. Wish the team spent on coaching instead.

I wouldn't classify any of the last 12 years good really. Some will say the Panthers series was an awesome milestone I say it was ok. Great they beat the Panthers in a playoff series then went on to literally mail it in against Tampa like they won the cup against the Panthers. Culture problem with this team top to bottom.

Would have been interest to see what would have happened if after JT was drafted, the team just went with developing the young talent around JT and added some quality vet guys and had a solid coach. I'm not even talking about a Babcock. This is the direction the Isles should have taken since they cannot attract top FA's anyway.

Garth and Co could not admit Florida really outplayed the Isles and Greiss and JT basically won the series.

After a decade of rebuilding at that point to slap themselves on the back for winning a series against the panthers to me is laughable and telling of the team and management's expectations for themselves.

Well that was Snow's plan supposedly. What he did was sell a load of shat to the fan base, Wang, and now Ledecky and Malkin.

It helps he was not facing 50 shots a game back then and the dmen were better.

Garth talked up the young talent and then had no clue or desire to develop them properly.

They were happy just to squeak into the playoffs. The organization needs to be gutted. It's beyond time for new leadership and a new culture.

True, although I'm having trouble remembering who these better d-men were, other than Hamonic. Is it possible Cappy emphasized the forwards playing D more than Weight???
