In a perfect somewhat realistic world, when Geno comes back Jake is able to take over 3C providing a major upgrade at the position, Pens call up Sprong and all is fine and dandy. |

We could use Jarry and something as trade bait. Especially if price might be moved. |

Seeing how Rowney is rushing at C today, I'm betting Sullivan agrees. |

You’re probably right, but it would be nice if it worked out that way.
Pens would have a much easier time fixing their winger situation than having to upgrade 3C |

I doubt we see Sheahan, McKegg and Rowney as the 2-3-4 punch.

I was listening to pre game. It sounds like that's exactly what they're doing today. Interestingly, they said Cole might sit. |

Sid had 21 goals and 11 assists at this time last year. |

Where did I read that Management and Coaching are not seeing eye to eye? That Sullivan isn't thrilled that he's handcuffed with playing Reaves. I don't remember. I wish they would go back to what won them back to back Cups. Speed, offense, and a trade that actually benefits the team.
I don't think Sheahan is the answer at 3rd line center. I think he's alright, but he's more of a 4th line center, but he's still no Bonino or Cullen. He and the bottom 6 are not generating enough offense. Not that Sid is either (god knows what's wrong with him this season), but I'm hoping one of these days he wakes up from whatever funk he's in.
I just wish they could make some kind of a trade for a center. Don't ask me how or for whom (from Pittsburgh's roster), but I just wish they would do something, call up Sprong, and start winning again consistently. I don't think I can watch any more games where they lose games that they should have won. |

This team doesn't skate faster than anybody. We haven't won a puck race yet in this game. |

The knock on Sprong is his defensive zone responsibility. It’s not as if the Pens aren’t coughing up turnovers left and right. If the team is tired, give him a chance. They need a spark. |

They absolutely do. Some players need to be benched too. Letang.....good lord....he's an f'n trainwreck. I think he was the guy who just threw that puck laterally out to the blue line. |

if we lose this game it is panic mode honestly. they need to sell one of murray, malkin, kessel or sid. |

The thing is...individually the players are EXTREMELY fast. They're just not doing it as a team. Not good support on the forcheck. Too much gliding in the D zone. Passes aren't tape to tape. They have the players, but they're not playing together. |

None of those players are the actual issue. Sid's numbers are down, but he's creating chances. The only core player that's a problem, for now, is Letang. |
