McD's 6 giveaways and 0 takeaways must be his worst ever, but like I said in the other thread - still the best Ranger on ice according to the corsi #'s.

I think Jan is saying that Hayes allowed Kessel too much room when Kessel finally got the puck. Doesn't matter. Hayes is just one of the many drops in a bucket that is now overflowing.

So Hayes is responsible for covering 2 players the left side defensive zone and center.... No wonder the dude can't catch a break.

The fact the Rangers capitalized on both sequences of the double minor and didn't win that game also boggles my mind. The Rangers very rarely do that. It just show they have no killer instinct, leadership...whatever you want to call it. Just amazing.

Scott Arniel is asking for a contract extension this morning because of this.

No Hayes did his job covering for the pinching Mcdonagh. When the Penguins entered the zone and moved the puck to Kessel, he froze for a split second and that allowed Kessel to move in and shoot. DeAngelo didn't help matters either. Just a cluster(frank) right now. Not all Hayes's fault.

The whole lot can be fired. Keep Benoit Allaire and the medical staff. AV, Arniel, Ruff and Gorton can all hit the bread lines.

He actually retired, spending time with his adult disabled son on their farm. Not kidding or being a Richard, that's just what he is up to.

Would the only worth even entertaining. And what you were listing was a list of gentlemen that would love to get a crack at Crosby's crack.

List is short, it'll be Ruff and our season will just as bad, Messier is who they should bring in here, he's the only leader who could win in this town

This start is unimaginable, every that could go wrong aside from injury has gone wrong, continued bad starts, late goals, bad goals, turnover after (frank)ing turnover, I don't get it, this defense should be a major upgrade but we plug one hole(Girardi) and another bunch of holes (bad starts by Mac, Skjei and Smith) open up, we only lost Stepan who's doing nothing in Arizona so I don't know why people are claiming that was the wrong move, we went from 6th overall last season to 30th......how the (frank) did this happen? I'll tell you exactly why, we didn't get rid of the biggest issue.....AV

Arneil was an assistant under Ruff for 4 years, he's not going anywhere if Ruff takes over, this seems very planned out

May I remind how bad of coach Arniel was in Columbus? His last two stints in the AHL were bad too. Hard pass on Arniel. I'd rather have you coach before him.

I just don't think AV is the biggest issue. AV doesn't make Kreids take 2 dumb penalties in the offensive zone. AV doesnt make Shatty touch a hand pass. AV doesn't make McDonagh get an assist on the OT goal against.

I have my issues with AV, but you could bring in the best coach in the world and that stuff won't change. Thats on the players, thye don't get to use the AV excuse

Agree to a point. A lot of these mistakes are, IMHO, attributed to their heads not being in the game. Thats still on the players, but a coach needs to also recognize it and step in.

Team needs a change, as much of an AV supporter I've been it's time for him to go. If AV isn't let go maybe he needs to send a message, sit McD next game. Players need to be held accountable, it's not always the coach.

No, no. Only certain players get held accountable. Like DeAngelo, Smith and Buchnevich.

Yeah. I wouldn't care if AV was let go, I just don't know if that stops the players from making peewee level mistakes. Think the players have to look in the mirror. AV is a convenient excuse right now.

My biggest issue with AV is the constant line changes. No familiarity.

I think Smith and ADA have had a terrible start to the season. Buch is starting to pick it up a little but still looking lazy out there. In my honest opinion and I never thought I'd say this but the best defenseman has been Staal. He might even be the best Player on the ice right now.
