As nice as it was to see stecher make the club like he did, its more so an indication of how poor our depth is. He essentially made the club caude of injuries to tanev and edler, then stayed over biega. In a perfect world, all prospects marinate and develop a couole years in the AHL unless they are special and can truly make the club and significantly impact the game. I dont want brisebois or chstfield to make the team, i want them to develop properly. Let holm and McEny be the first and only call ups

If i had it my way, i would treat holm and mceny and pedan as the 7th d men. More should be invested in the future for juolevi, chatfield, brisebois, rathbone, and yes even subban. These kids are the future of our defense. Subban has a game i dont really care for, but seems to be very sought after, if he can become more responsible and develop properly, i can see him one day being an asset.

i think Holm could surprise us. Perhaps see him in the lineup sooner rather than later.

If McEneny doesn't make the team he will be claimed. I hope he makes it here and makes Edler Tanev or Gudbranson expendable.
