Also I think Theodore isn't available unless the return is clear overpayment. |

Out of the entire Golden Knights roster.
Theodore is probably the one player they probably wanna keep the most. |

I agree Mussel that LV would want an overpayment. Trading for a defenceman is pretty pricey and teams are definitely inventorying them in the hope of finding a gem. LV is one of the few teams that might trade one since they have very little to prove next year. |

He will likely get a lot more ice time in LV than anywhere else too.

Fleury. Otherwise they'd have to do all their advertising again, which is just a ball ache.
Don't think the Leafs will make a trade before the season starts. I've thought that all summer. They added 3 FA defensemen they need to see first |

It's been pretty clearly demonstrated that fear is a top asset in todays NHL. Deryk Engelland is their #1 asset. |

Vegas is not going to trade him unless the return is huge. They gave up the opportunity to draft a more established player from the ducks to get him. |

Finally finished sucking it, eh? |

They would be wise to keep him. In general I think a rebuilding team should stock the system with defenseman first. They develop later. Then suck for a few years and try to land franchise centers at the top of the draft. That way you have defenders a few years older than your forward core. |

I say we send Lums down to Vegas to see if a prospect, a pick and him sucking it can get us Theodore! |

He's their building block on defense. No way they move him.

I don't see why they would trade Theodore, they need a pile of prospects just like him. |

Can't see the Knights giving him up unless they get a decent roster player and good prospects in return. No matter what it would be an overpayment. I'd have two proposals to run by you guys:
1: Kapanen + Carrick
2: Komorov + Bracco/Brooks + Nielsen (overpayment IMO) |

Unless Toronto is going to wildly overpay in futures, there's no reason for Vegas to trade him. |
