I can see that because he probably won't get the pp time sanheim will get. - J35Bacher
With Provorov, Ghost, Sanhem, Myers all being PP1 capable.......there's likely 1 spot which Ghost has right now, unless they run 2 d-men, then it's Sanheim probably. He'd better mix with him. Going to be interesting. Sanheim could be special offensively, but I think Phil is absolutely dynamic offensively in his own right. He reminds me of a 6'5 Ghost in some mannerisms and style. Myers doesn't just have a lot of skill; he has a ton of moxie.
I know this gets repeated a lot, but his skating is far worse than a similarly aged Lindblom. Players have different skating weaknesses and what you see as projectable to improve. Lindblom always had good footwork and edge work. He needed power skating work and muscle gain. Usual stuff. Strome's skating is broken, in every way. It's bad. Lindblom has become an above average skater; it's more strength than weakness honestly. Strome hopes he can get to reasonably below average. I hope he does because I like him a lot. - Mononoke
Totally agree. His skating is more along the lines of Patrick Maroon in his draft year, where there is a long way to go to even be average. If Maroon and Tomas Holmström could do it, though, Strome can, too.

I think the readiness of the young defenseman to play top minutes in key situations is a legitimate concern but that's not what you said. Any thought that the Flyers are going to do anything based on how it might make them look is absurd. Same as what was siad earlier today by another poster that the Flyers would sign a player to "save face". - MJL
The readiness of the young defensemen to play top minutes is exactly what I've been saying, just not in that post. It was implied though. Are you a lawyer? I agree the Flyers will not do anything based on how it will make them look. That was an incorrect statement and I retract it.
"We should trade Giroux, he's only good on the power play."
"OMFG WHY WOULD THEY TRADE SCHENN!? TEAR IT DOWN!!!" - jmatchett383
Im ok with trading Giroux as well but IF you do that, you might as well trade Simmer and Voracek as well since they are all in the same age group. Long term Schenn sisnt look like he had a future with the Flyers. The guy that was supposed to be the next Mike Richards looked more like the next Scott Hartnell. Sit there and pot goals of Giroux's playmaking skills. Invisible 5 on 5.
Hey everyone! I'm going to be streaming the Colorado avalanche GM mode on NHL 17 starting at 9pm. You can catch the show here https://www.twitch.tv/fef1f0fum This time i will be making sure ill be saving pretty often to limit the Bugs. ty all for the SUP!
Just destruction of the competition. I was going nuts in round one. He's my boy, no shame.
I think I might like him more than any of these losers on the Phillies right now except Nola, Galvis, and Altherr and mayyyybe Odubel - Giroux_Is_God
Bellinger was no match, I am assuming. I wanted to watch but the speaker got moved in front of the receiver on my tv so I couldn't turn it on with the remote. What a debacle. I just started drinking and seeing what I didn't want to buy on prime day
