back in the 90's ESPN was the best, sportscenter was funny, they had hockey on all the time, now it's an irrelevant channel - jimbro83
Sportscenter was must watch back then, absolutely the best GO TO coverage of what was happening in sports. The NFL Primetime w Berman & Tom Jackson was the best football round up out there. They axed that in 2005 & at the same time they lost the hockey package & from there the whole channel went to sh!t.

Smith is the type of guy who believes all white people are evil, you can just see it in his venomous rants. He believes in reperations, believes all white people are entitled & racist. The irony is, guys like him thinking that are actually racists themselves. Reverse racism.
I guess its just me, but I never found sports radio or tv shows of two guys yelling at each other over sports all that entertaining. - mdw7413
I will confess I like watching PTI... other then that, I dont watch ANY ESPN.
Kornheiser and Wilbon have a good Schtick, and Lebetard when he subs in is hysterical.
HOWEVER , that show like everything else on ESPN lately is 90% basketball and its turning me off, as opposed to RD who turns me on
The Barkley stuff on San Antonio women is hilarious. The first time was funny, but there is a follow-up bit on it, which he demonstrates how San Antonio women eat churros.

Really? I was at my friends house and he had it on, I thought they were 2 of the most insufferable d-bags I had ever seen on tv.

Pierre McGuire on how the Rangers will defend Erik Karlsson (from SNY website):
"they won't do anything with the lines, that just isn't how you do it. Everyone on the ice needs to know when he is on the ice and you gotta try and finish your check on him, gotta try and get him to go to his backhand as opposed to the wall because if you let him go up the strong side, the right side of the ice, it's going to be a problem. You gotta flush him to go the other way, have him cross over left over right instead of right over left. That is a big deal. Trust me, it works because you get the player out of his comfort zone. That is one of the things to pay attention to but the biggest thing, and it's easier said than done, the Bruins got him a couple of times but you really got to try and get him. It's so easy to say but so hard to do."
Please let me know what you thought about the first blog on forwards and this one on defense/goalie. The third blog is a bit lighter due to the topics but wanted to hear if info was good or too much and if the analysis made sense and was accurate or far afield.

Think they should try to get Fast out there as much as possible against Karlsson.
Rangers did a pretty good job of limiting Weber's shot in the previous series. Anytime he was at the point the Rangers had one guy up high right in front of him.
Completely different player but I'm sure the coaches are already figuring some kind of plan out.

doing a great job jan, ive liked the format keep it up
PSA: if anybody here is the unfortunate victim of attempted trolling by an Ottawa fan, just tell them Karlsson sucks defensively or that McDonagh is the better overall defenseman. Watch them go on the defensive and potentially kill themselves. - rangerdanger94
Uhhhhhhhh....
Erik Karlsson Norris Nominations: 4
Erik Karlsson Norris Wins: 2
Norris nominations, entire current New York Rangers defence corps: 1
Norris wins, entire New York Rangers defence corps: 0
Therefore:
Erik Karlsson > Entire NYR defence corps combined.
I'm gonna enjoy our conversations over the next week or so, budday, provided I don't kill myself first, fwend. It's cold and damp up here, guy, and we really need this more than you. At least you have Broadway and Daily Show tapings to keep you entertained when the season ends. We've got nothing other than Canadian football left once this is over.

Hank's glove hand was taped yesterday, can't remember if he does that or it had to do with the Weber shot in game 6, looked like it stung

Weber is big and immobile, not to mention that he doesn't hold a candle to Karlsson's puck distribution skills or offensive IQ. Not knocking Weber or the Rangers here, just saying that Karlsson is on another level in nearly every aspect except his slapshot.
