McD/G/Skjei/Smith were all pretty fantastic, and are confidence inspiring. Girardi was an animal vs MTL and deserves an enormous amount of credit. The guy has to be a machine considering the abuse which he continues to subject himself to. With OTT's deeper F group, we're gonna need those two to settle in and be slightly less of an adventure for most of their shifts. Right now, more than Brassard or Turris or Hoffman, I worry about Stalberg exploiting Stall and Holden for breakaways. It's gonna be another tough series, and a long two days till puck drop!

When did you know the NHL to do the smart thing?

Holden really picked up his play after his benching, so hopefully that carries over. Staal will be fine, with a foopas here and there. . NYR defense will be fine. This series, more than last will rely heavily on forwards/D not turning puck over in the neutral zone. If they limit turnovers and don't allow Ott's "trap" to be effective than this will be a quick series. BIG IF!!!

Anderson is a bit more phsically rested than Hank, but caring for his wife might be an emotional toll. Might also be motivation to win.

Are you really going to watch both games simultaneously? Put the Rangers on the TV and stream the Craps from your 'puter. Or use the remote control to switch channels.
