I'll never forget coming out of the theatre to see Saving Private Ryan & a very old man, likely a vet from WW2 was in tears, being consoled by his elder wife. That made me almost cry, that was an emotional movie, in a different way. |

Congrats, you shut down a 21 year old d man in his second playoff series ever. And we still took you to seven games when you were able to do that.
If you think that's happening to a fully healthy prime aged version of the guy, I shall enjoy looking at the expression on your face. Since that series, he is the top point per game player among all NHL dmen in the playoffs, ahead of Keith, Letang, Weber, Doughty, Subban or anyone else.
We Sens fans really can't say this enough, given no one ever believes it until they watch him play more than 3 games in a row (see the Boston threads from last round to see what you'll be saying in a week's time...) - he is now the best defenceman in the league and there's been no one better than him in the league since Bobby Orr. Now that he's fully healthy and will have full speed and mobility for this series, you won't know what hit you. - ahjnkn
Too bad you crawled back under your bridge before seeing the best thing since Bobby Orr.

You ever see life is a house? Holy crap that was sad. Kind of obscure in fame, but really good. Kevin Kline is in it |

Yes, I hated that kid's book.
I think it's sad, only because the kid was a DB as a kid and DB as an old guy. |

I can't even make it through the opening scene where the family is walking into the cemetery before I get choked up!
I used to be ok with such things, but my sister passed away 5 years ago and ever since my emotions are pretty raw.
Took my little girl (she was 6, I think) to see Inside Out at the theatre. By the end, I had pulled her into my lap and had tears running down my face!
Quite a spectacle, I would think. |

Never thought about it that way. All about him. Did he ever plant a tree to replace his greed?
Probably not. |

Kids movies always are the ones that sneak up on me & get me. I was a mess after Toy Story 3, there were 2 different scenes in the last half hr in that where I lost it. |
