The NHL would never enforce the recapture rule. Has any parent ever stopped the car? My point has been made. |

You are way overestimating the prospects in the Hawks system. Are there some nice players? Sure, but "brilliant" is going way too far. |

So in your usual brilliant way you are saying the Sabre's should be excited to hire a guy that the Hawk's are about to fire????? What am I missing here... |

I am stunned. This blog actually makes a little sense. |

A couple of thoughts here:
Word in Chicago is that Quenneville is safe, not necessarily the assistants.
Not necessarily sure that the core is safe either -- especially Crawford. Nationally, Crawford does not get the respect he has earned.

Lol isn't Detroit hockey hell right now? Only good thing we can say about Detroit is that they are finally getting a new arena. Other then that half the city is a ghost town. But ya Buffalo's hockey hell. |

Crawford isn't part of the core. Crawford is an average goalie. He's just as part of that core that Niemi was. They can do good with any goalie. Hell Darling outplayed him.

That's their core. |

For what it's worth He's also been with the 'Hawks getting tutelage under Bowman. Supposedly the best GM in the league. I think different though. |

This is a mind-blowing 4 sentence passage...
"Sabres winger Tyler Ennis and several other Buffalo prospects thrived under Dineen's mentoring in Portland.
Dinner has three years NHL head coaching experience, all with the Florida Panthers, including a 38-26-16 first place record in 2011-12.
Dineen's crowning coaching achievement was coaching Team Canada's Women's squad to the Olympic gold medal at the Sochi Games.
Dinesen is a consummate communicator and is widely respected by his players and peers."

I realize it probably only takes for passages to blow anybody's mind, but you missed to first 2 sentences on that subject where that coach is called "Dinesen" the first time, and then "Dineen." So, just for the sake of completeness, in six sentences the coach is
Dinesen
Dineen
Dineen
Dinner
Dineen
Dinesen.

Dinner is my favorite. The fact that he could'nt care less to even watch and correct a spelling error this bad is priceless. If Dineen does become head coach of this hockey team it would only be fitting to call him Dinner here |
