Cammy is our best bet next year to return to the big dance. The 1st or top 6 we'd get in return wouldn't make the same impact as the majic he can conure up.
Also, why doesn't management choose a direction and stick with it? I thought we were building for speed, but they've gone and picjed skill, strength and even smarts in our last draft and now the rumblings are we're looking to take big bodies in the 2017 draft.

Lmao. Nice try troll. Like Cammalleri would bring back anything more than a late 1st and definitely not a top 6 player. |

Sorry for the double post instead of just editing my last post, but the edit function isn't working for some reason.
If we can ever get him to come over we might have a hell of a player in Maltsev

He looked pretty slick in that video. The only thing is he hasn't gotten time in the KHL yet. He's only been playing in the MHL and VHL, the movie league and junior league for the KHL. He's done well in those leagues, but I'd like to see how he'd fare against better competition.
On the topic of Russian prospects, Ygor Rykov has played in the KHL all season and his team is now playing in the finals of the Gagarin Cup. He had a very good showing at the WJC with 1 goal, 6 assists for a total of 7 points in 7 games. It was an impressive showing for him, especially since the Russian team disappointed overall. The that he's looked good all year and has remained in the KHL all season as a 19 year old is a major positive. His stats are very similar to that of Dmitri Orlov. Hopefully he can become something useful for NJ in the near future.
For a 5th rd pick, he's definitely looked very good and could have top 4 potential in the NHL. He's under contract for another 2 years with his KHL team, but it's possible great he has an out clause if NJ were to bring him over to play on the NHL roster. If not, hopefully after those two years, hell be ready to play some quality minutes as a rookie defenseman in NJ. |

Elias is officially done by the looks of it. That last lap is going to really really sting. |
