A pick in the 55-89 area seems reasonable.

Meh, I'm pretty happy with the guys we got in the 2nd this year anyways, the only thing I would have liked to have seen (other than getting a goalie) was flipping those 3 2nds to move up into the 1st round for a Gauthier or a Chycurun...

With another shutout win for the Heat, this time by Jon Gillies, the baby Flames are averaging a shutout win every fifth game so far this year.

Mangiapane and Jankowski are 5th and 11th in rookie scoring overall, and Andersson is 15th in overall scoring by AHL defensemen . Klimchuck has been impressive and Poirier has regained some scoring touch lost from last season.

The future looks bright!

I read they were shopping them for roster players but nothing came of it. And then after we traded 3 picks away for dougie the year before they wanted to hang on to them to restock on some prospects

Makes sense, just would have loved to get that next top end guy in the draft. Like I said, pretty happy with the guys we nabbed in the 2nd anyways, but a hulking Gauthier might look good up there on the 1st line...
