McCormick's man games lost count. He should be placed on LTIR already. I've spoken with him several times in the past few months. He's not playing any time in the near future |

I thought he was on LTIR, that's why i was saying. it's crazy that he isn't, he has pretty much said he isn't going to play again. |

Odd that all the long time injuries we had this season and not once did GMTM put a player on LTIR. I guess because no need for the extra cap room atm.

Did Price get injured last year due to an illegal contact? I think Garth is confusing last season's injury with the Kreider "incident" |

So where is the vid of Palmieri being pushed into Price by the Habs defender? |

If you're willing to bet Palmeri will never do it again you're a fool. Guys regularly get hit and punched in the crease by defenders and aren't deterred.
News alert. Hockey is a contact sport. And while I happen to believe the league and officials should protect the goalies more defending Prices's outburst and violation of the rules is dumb.
What was the official thinking? |

Garth please read to me the rule about a goalie using his blocker to punch a player.
I am all about standing up for yourself but also accepting the results of your actions.
So tell me how in the hell you can punch a guy in the head and in the guts with a blocker and tha is okay on any planet. What kind of message does that send to kids?
That is some prima donna crap that the NHL is allowing and one can question the connections the head of olayer safety has to the Habs.
Also fyi Tarasenko regularly beas goalies with his shot clean, just fyi.
Plays like Palmieri's ought to result in double minor and ten minute misconduct for the first infraction and go up from there. But what Price did the rules stipulate no other decision than a match. |

A devils teammate should have actually ran Price after that. F goalies and their "rights" its hockey. |

PEtry was a good player, but you'd have to push him towards the edge of a very steep cliff to get any push back. |

I agree...there are certain things that shouldnt be allowed, like checking a goalie in his crease for example...but outside the blue paint they should be fair game. |
