Terrible news! They need to find a way to win while he is out. They did it last year.

Man that sucks! Hope he isn't out long.

Seems like a lot of injuries over the last 24 hours or so Gaudreau, Stamkos, Hall all hurt.

Goddammit Stammer really deserved a big season, perhaps a 50 goal season again. Started so well and ONCE AGAIN he gets sidelined for a long period of time. Feel bad for our captain.

Would not get chocked if Condra gets a couple of views. He has been playing fairly well in Cuse (2+8 in 11gp) and i think Coop feels bad for him.

Well at least tonight's game wouldn't matter with or without Stammer.

6-1 Tampa.

More like three weeks if a small tear though.

Right but from what I understand it is not a small tear whatsoever. Newest update today says at least 3-4 months

Also depends on how its torn as well as the severity... I've seen two people recover in 2 weeks from a small one that was torn "the good way". But due to the lengthy time table, seems he got it as bad as possible.

So... if Stammer goes on LTIR for 3-4 months. That could work out well for the Lightning to add a meaningful salary to the books for the rest of the season and allow them to load up for a cup run when he is back.
Are there any targets that make some sense?

Nah its cool... the Lightning tried to resign him and offered a similar two year deal but he went to Florida where he saw more playing time. Can't fault him for that.

Drouin is back, the lines tonight were:

Palat-Namestnikov-Kucherov
Killorn-Johnson-Point
Drouin-Filppula-Callahan
Boyle-Paquette-Brown

I think a lot of teams would take that lineup which went to Game 7 of the ECF last year ... I think they will be ok even with Stamkos gone for 4+ months. It will be a challenge but I think they will be up to it.
