Well thats what he saying... would be stupid to refuse...Lindholm is already a stud and has more value than Marner I believe...

I like what I saw of Marner, dont get me wrong...but at one point somebody will need to play defense ! ( see Oilers of the last 5 years)

FWIW, No I don't think getzlaf or Perry are bad. They're actually still very good. But I'll take the young top 2 D man over the forwards any day.

Laughable - a malcontent 9th overall pick that isn't in Winnipeg's top four and was the 7th defenseman taken in 2012 - Jet's dreaming fans would like to get Marner, throw in Matthews and even Reilly. How about Pollack and a 7th? We'll throw in Marner's jock strap - the first overall from 12 just got traded for a 3rd and a bag of peanuts.

He is a MASSIVE improvement over Morgan Rielly. He's the best player on a (quickly fading, but still relevant) contender.
